Job description

The Opportunity An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Finance Manager to join a high-profile organisation undergoing significant growth and transformation. Working closely with the Finance Director and wider leadership team, you'll play a key role in financial planning, commercial decision-making, and business partnering across multiple departments. This position has been created as part of a wider investment in the finance function and offers genuine scope for progression into a senior leadership role. This is a commercially focused role suited to someone who enjoys getting under the skin of a business, influencing stakeholders, and using financial insight to drive performance. There is also the opportunity to support a major systems implementation and help shape the future direction of the finance function. Duties • Own management accounts, budgeting, forecasting, and long-range financial planning processes • Develop financial models, KPIs, and performance reporting across the business • Partner with stakeholders across commercial and operational functions to support decision-making • Deliver cashflow forecasting, variance analysis, and investment appraisals • Support payroll forecasting and capital expenditure projects • Provide commercial insight and recommendations to senior leadership teams • Lead process improvement initiatives and contribute to a new finance system implementation The Person • Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA or CIMA) • Strong background in management accounting, FP&A, and business partnering • Advanced Excel, modelling, and financial systems skills • Experience operating within a complex, fast-paced environment with multiple stakeholders • Commercial mindset with the ability to influence and challenge constructively • Strong communicator, capable of translating financial information into meaningful business insight Why this role? • High-profile organisation with an exciting period of growth and development • Significant exposure to senior leadership and strategic decision-making • Opportunity to play a key role in systems and process improvements • Clear progression path into broader leadership responsibilities within the finance function • Bonus scheme and comprehensive benefits package including enhanced pension, life assurance, parking and a range of employee benefits
