Finance Manager

Reporting to the CFO, you will lead finance function, manage a transactional finance team, and play a key role in delivering accurate financial reporting, maintaining robust financial controls, and supporting strategic business decisions. Description • Managing and developing a finance team of six • Reviewing monthly management accounts and balance sheet reconciliations • Overseeing month-end processes and ensuring strong financial controls • Managing payroll, VAT returns, PAYE and statutory reporting • Authorising payments and monitoring cash flow • Leading the annual audit and liaising with external auditors • Supporting budgeting and forecasting activities • Monitoring stock reconciliations and debt reviews • Deputising for the CFO when required and supporting wider finance projects Profile A successful Finance Manager should have: • A professional qualification in accounting or finance (e.g., ACCA, CIMA, ACA) or qualified by experience. • Previous experience managing a finance team • Strong management accounting and financial control experience • Knowledge of payroll, VAT and statutory reporting • Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills • A proactive, organised approach with strong attention to detail Job Offer • Competitive Salary depending on experience • Annual bonus scheme • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays • Free onsite parking • Office-based role with excellent exposure to senior leadership • Opportunity to work closely with an experienced CFO • A varied role with genuine autonomy and opportunities to influence the wider business
