Job description

Finance Trainee Location: Norwich A fantastic opportunity has arisen for a Finance Trainee to join a successful and growing organisation based in Norwich. This is an excellent entry-level opportunity for someone looking to start or develop their career within finance. We are looking for an organised, detail-focused and motivated individual who is keen to learn, develop new skills and build a long-term career within finance. Key Responsibilities: • Supporting the wider finance team with day-to-day administration and financial processes • Reconciling data accurately and identifying any discrepancies or missing information • Reviewing and maintaining financial records to ensure accuracy and completeness • Liaising with clients, suppliers and internal teams to obtain missing information and resolve data-related queries • Investigating discrepancies and supporting the resolution of data issues in a timely manner • Maintaining accurate records and updating internal systems • Assisting with reporting, data analysis and other finance-related tasks as required About You: • A keen interest in developing a career within finance • Strong attention to detail with a focus on accuracy • Highly organised with the ability to manage priorities effectively • Analytical approach with the ability to identify issues and find solutions • Confident communicator with the ability to liaise with a range of stakeholders • Good working knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel, Outlook and Word • A positive attitude with a willingness to learn and develop This role would suit an individual who is looking for their first step into finance, whether that be a recent graduate, school leaver, or someone looking to begin a career in accounts and data management.
