Job description

This temporary Financial Accountant role in Rochdale requires expertise in accounting and finance ideally within the industrial/manufacturing industry. The successful candidate will oversee financial reporting, compliance, and process improvements. Client Details This company are a profitable and successful manufacturing business with sites all over Europe who are experiencing a sustained period of growth making it an excellent time to join the business. Description The Financial Accountant role will initially be a temporary assignment with the option to extend and will be 100% office based in Rochdale. Reporting to the Financial Controller Key duties will include: • Prepare accurate financial statements and reports in line with regulations. • Ensure compliance with accounting standards and company policies. • Assist with budgeting, forecasting, and variance analysis. • Monitor and improve financial controls and processes. • Support internal and external audits, providing necessary documentation. • Reconcile accounts and ensure accuracy of financial data. • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to improve financial efficiency. • Provide financial insights and recommendations to stakeholders. Profile In order to apply for the role you should: • Be ACCA/CIMA Part Qualified or Qualified by experience • Have experience in Balance sheet reconciliation and a strong understanding of debits and credits • Any manufacturing experience preferable, however not essential • Have experience in Financial Accounting • Be able to commute 5 days per week to Rochdale site • Be able to consider a temporary role initially Job Offer Opportunity to for role to be extended Opportunity to join growing company Excellent company pension and healthcare if the role were to go permanent
