Description • Prepare accurate financial statements in compliance with accounting standards and regulations. • Manage month-end and year-end close processes, ensuring timely reporting. • Reconcile financial discrepancies by collecting and analysing account information. • Assist in the preparation of budgets and forecasts for the organisation. • Monitor and maintain financial controls to ensure compliance and mitigate risks. • Collaborate with internal teams to streamline financial processes and improve efficiency. • Support audits by providing necessary documentation and explanations. • Stay updated on changes in financial regulations and implement necessary adjustments. Profile A successful Financial Accountant should have: • A recognised qualification in accounting or finance. • Proven expertise in financial reporting and compliance. • Strong analytical skills with attention to detail. • Proficiency in accounting software and Microsoft Excel. • Excellent understanding of accounting principles and regulations. • Ability to manage multiple tasks and meet deadlines effectively. • Experience working within the FMCG industry is advantageous.
