We're partnering with a highly successful, international manufacturing organisation seeking an ambitious and dynamic Financial Controller to join its senior finance leadership team. The Opportunity Reporting directly to the Finance Director, you will play a pivotal role in providing financial leadership across the business, ensuring robust financial control, strategic decision support and operational excellence. This is far more than a traditional reporting role. You'll act as a genuine business partner across operations, supply chain, commercial and senior leadership teams, helping to shape strategic decisions, drive profitability and lead finance transformation initiatives. The successful candidate will lead and develop a talented finance team whilst championing a culture of accountability, continuous improvement and collaboration. Key Responsibilities • Lead, coach and develop the finance team, creating a high-performance culture. • Deliver accurate and timely management reporting, budgeting and forecasting. • Provide commercial insight and financial analysis to support strategic decision making. • Partner closely with operational and commercial teams to identify opportunities for growth, efficiency and margin improvement. • Drive finance transformation, process enhancement and systems optimisation initiatives. • Support major capital investment decisions through robust financial modelling and ROI analysis. • Oversee statutory reporting, audits, compliance, treasury and risk management activities. • Strengthen controls, governance and financial processes across the organisation. • Play a key role in regional and international projects Profile We're looking for a confident, engaging and commercially minded finance professional who can build trust quickly and communicate effectively with stakeholders across the organisation. You are likely to be: • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified. • An experienced Financial Controller, Head of Finance or Senior Finance Manager. • From a manufacturing, engineering, FMCG, pharmaceutical, industrial, supply chain or similarly complex operational environment. • A natural leader who develops high-performing teams. • A strong communicator who can challenge constructively and influence senior stakeholders. • Open, honest and highly credible with the ability to operate at both strategic and operational levels. • Comfortable driving change, continuous improvement and finance transformation projects. • Commercially astute with strong analytical and decision-support capabilities.
