About You You will be a qualified accountant with strong Financial Controller experience and an excellent working knowledge of Sage. You'll be commercially minded, organised and proactive, with the confidence to work closely with the Managing Director, Board and senior management team. Whilst technical ability is important, personality and attitude are just as important. We're looking for someone who: • Is a genuine team player with plenty of drive and initiative. • Is proactive rather than reactive. • Is comfortable identifying issues before they become problems. • Enjoys improving processes and helping drive the business forward. • Is approachable and builds strong relationships across the business. • Is organised and able to prioritise in a busy environment. • Remains calm under pressure and enjoys being involved in the wider business. • Wants to become a valued member of the management team rather than simply producing the numbers.
