Financial Controller - International, Media Salary: £90,000 - £97,000 + Bonus & Benefits Location: West London Working Pattern: Hybrid An exciting opportunity has arisen for a technically strong and commercially minded International Financial Controller to join a leading global media business. Reporting into senior finance leadership, you will be responsible for financial control, reporting and compliance across a diverse portfolio of international entities. Key Responsibilities • Own financial control, reporting and compliance across multiple international entities • Lead month-end close, group reporting, transfer pricing and tax submissions • Ensure compliance with US GAAP, IFRS and SOX requirements • Prepare technical accounting papers and support complex accounting matters • Manage statutory audits, regulatory reporting and local compliance • Partner with Tax, Treasury and Legal teams on key accounting issues • Lead and develop a small team, offshore shared services and external advisors • Oversee cash flow forecasting and treasury funding requirements • Drive process improvements and strengthen the control environment About You • ACA qualified (strong ACCA candidates considered) • Big 4 or strong audit-trained background • Experience managing multiple international entities • Strong technical accounting knowledge with US GAAP and IFRS exposure • Experience of SOX controls, group reporting and statutory compliance • Proven people management and stakeholder management skills • Experience within media, sports, entertainment or another fast-paced international business is highly desirable • SAP experience would be advantageous This is an excellent opportunity for an ambitious finance professional seeking a broad international remit within a dynamic, high-growth organisation.
