We're looking for a commercially minded Financial Controller to lead our finance function and play a key role in supporting the next stage of our growth. This is a hands-on position offering both operational responsibility and strategic influence, making it ideal for someone who enjoys improving processes while contributing to wider business success. The RoleAs Financial Controller, you'll be responsible for the day-to-day management of the finance function, ensuring robust financial controls, accurate reporting and effective financial planning. Key responsibilities include: • Leading financial operations, including budgeting, forecasting, cash flow management and reporting. • Preparing monthly management accounts and statutory financial statements. • Developing and improving financial systems, controls and processes. • Partnering with senior leadership to support strategic decision-making. • Managing relationships with auditors, banks and other external stakeholders. • Ensuring compliance with all financial, tax and regulatory requirements. • Supporting and mentoring finance team members where appropriate. About YouYou'll ideally be: • ACA, ACCA or CIMA qualified (or equivalent). • An experienced Financial Controller or senior finance professional. • Highly analytical with strong financial reporting and systems knowledge. • Commercially aware with excellent communication skills. • Proactive, organised and solutions-focused. • Comfortable working in a fast-paced and evolving business.
