Job description

Grafton Banks Finance is working with a growing commercial SME company with offices in Maidstone, Kent to recruit a Financial Modeller on a 6-month interim basis. The company are looking to evolve their financial strategy to support business growth. To achieve this, they are exploring new revenue streams alongside revising the sales commission structure. Reporting into the Finance Director and sitting alongside the finance team we are looking for an experienced Financial Modeller to support in this transformation. The job as Financial Modeller, you will play a pivotal role in shaping the company's future revenue strategy. You will create detailed financial models to evaluate potential new revenue opportunities and assess the impact of an updated sales commission system. Duties and Responsibilities will include: • Develop comprehensive financial models to analyse new revenue streams • Model the financial impact of proposed changes to the sales commission structure • Collaborate with sales, finance, and strategy teams to gather relevant data and insights • Provide scenario analysis and risk assessment to support decision-making • Present findings and recommendations clearly to senior management Key Experience for the interim role: • Proven experience in financial modelling, ideally within a commercial or sales-related environment • Strong Excel skills and familiarity with financial modelling software/tools • Ability to interpret complex data and translate it into actionable insights • Excellent communication skills to work with cross-functional teams • Previous experience with revenue stream analysis and commission models is highly desirable • Detail-oriented with strong analytical thinking For your experience as a driven financial modeller ready to make an impact through innovative financial analysis, you will be rewarded with a competitive rate. Due to the 6-month interim nature of this position candidates available at short notice will take preference.
