FP&A Senior Analyst
• Annual Salary: £55,000 - £65,000
• Location: Chester City Centre – Hybrid Approach (2 days in office)
• Job Type: Fixed-Term Contract – 12 months
We are seeking a commercially minded FP&A Senior Analyst to play a pivotal role in driving insight, performance, and strategic decision-making within our client’s multi-site business. Reporting directly to the Head of FP&A, this role is central to financial planning and analysis, shaping budgets, interrogating performance, and delivering impactful reporting across the organisation.
Day-to-day of the role:
• Partner with the FP&A team to deliver high-quality financial analysis and reporting that supports informed decision-making across the business.
• Build and maintain robust budgets and forecasts for both leased & tenanted (L&T) and managed operations.
• Deliver clear, insightful variance analysis — identifying trends, risks, and opportunities.
• Collaborate with stakeholders across the business to develop, enhance, and maintain KPI reporting frameworks.
• Support strategic and operational projects as directed by the Head of FP&A.
• Contribute to the continuous improvement of reporting processes, systems, and financial controls.
Required Skills & Qualifications:
• Qualified or part-qualified accountant (ACCA or CIMA).
• Advanced Excel skills, with strong financial modelling and analytical capability.
• High attention to detail, with the ability to work accurately and at pace to tight deadlines.
• Strong communicator who can confidently present financial insights to non-finance stakeholders.
• Proven experience in a multi-site environment is essential.
