Description
• Lead the development and maintenance of the organisation's Medium-Term Financial Plan.
• Coordinate and oversee the annual budget setting process.
• Provide strategic financial advice to senior executives, leadership teams, and key stakeholders.
• Support robust financial governance and effective decision-making across the organisation.
• Manage and develop members of the financial planning and business partnering team.
• Monitor key financial resources including reserves, provisions, and corporate budgets.
• Lead statutory and government financial returns, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
• Contribute to major transformation programmes, business cases, and strategic projects.
• Prepare high-profile financial reports for senior leadership and governance forums.
• Deputise for senior finance leadership when required and represent the organisation at key meetings and external networks.
Profile
• Strong experience in financial planning, budgeting, and financial management.
• Exceptional stakeholder engagement and influencing skills.
• Experience operating at a senior level and advising executive leaders.
• A thorough understanding of governance, statutory reporting, and financial controls.
• The ability to lead teams, drive performance, and develop talent.
• Commercial acumen with experience supporting transformation, change, and investment decisions.
• Excellent communication skills and the confidence to present complex financial information to both financial and non-financial audiences.
• A proactive, solution-focused approach with the ability to navigate complex and evolving environments.
Job Offer
