Fire Door Installer

About you As the Fire Door Installer Operative, your responsibilities will include: • Installation of fire door sets to manufacturers installation guidelines • Accurate record keeping in-line with 3rd party accreditation requirements using apps such as plan radar. • Covering the East Anglia area, Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex, Cambridge, Peterborough and Hertfordshire. (Travel outside these areas maybe required from time to time) • Working within a team and lone working on various social housing, M.O.D, healthcare and Education sites for various clients. • Trouble shooting issues and rectifying to compliant standards. To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications, experience, and attributes: • Minimum of 3+ years’ experience as Fire door installer and or Maintainer (Desirable) • Experience with using fire evidence-based apps like, Plan radar, Bolster, CCS Systems, site audit pro etc. (Preferred but training will be given). • Reading and understanding of manufacture Standard details. • Polite, Friendly, flexible can-do attitude. • A strong team player, but able to carry out lone working too. • Strong interest in fire safety and willingness to increase knowledge and new challenges. • Clean Driving Licence. • Own Tools What We Offer • Salary of up to £43,680 depending on experience, plus performance-related bonus(£44,680 per annum) • (Training roles for carpenters, door installers will be considered for those looking to move into the fire door sector.
