Job description

• Train appropriate staff in the safe use of firefighting equipment, emergency medical gas shutdown and the deployment / use of evacuation equipment where required • Work with local managers and the EPPR Team to provide realistic scenario training (fire drills and tabletop exercises) to test fire, contingency planning and resilience arrangements • Ensure all relevant training is conducted in accordance with training guidance in HTM 05-01 ' Managing Healthcare Fire safety', the Regulatory Reform (Fire Safety) Order 2005 and the Health & Safety at Work Act and associated legislation • Work proactively with the Fire Safety Team and Senior Managers to plan complex activities or programmes such as fire drills, tabletop evacuations exercises and building evacuations.
