Fleet Logistics Assistant / Driver - Wakefield nights

They will become competent in assisting with ad hoc light vehicle maintenance with the appropriate training from a technical lead. This will include the fitting a fast part such as bulbs and wipers. Topping up vehicles with the appropriate oils and lubricants. Jump starting vehicles, towing. Assisting with vehicle commissioning and decommissioning and internal vehicle audits. They will also assist workshop technical staff with appropriate support as and when required, for example lifting / supporting in jobs that may require manual assistance. The post holder will also assist in preventative maintenance in the reporting of any accident damage found on any vehicles immediately.Primary duties will be compliance with all relevant SOPs, controls and standards, both national and Trust specific.
