Our Flexi Housekeeper at N Family Club will create and maintain a clean and hygienic environment for our nursery team, parents and children each day. Key responsibilities and tasks: • Work in partnership with the Nursery team to provide high standards of cleaning to ensure the smooth running of the nursery each day; • Be welcoming to children, parents, staff and visitors at all times; • Ensure all plants both internally and externally are watered and well kept • Ensure all communal areas, including the welcome areas and parent areas are well presented, attractive and inviting at all times; • Report any damage or faulty equipment immediately to the nursery management team and remove it if necessary; • Maintain a high standard of cleanliness and hygiene of all bathrooms and nappy changing areas throughout the day; • Report to the front of house any cleaning provisions required (within budget); • Carry out daily laundry duties as required; • Ensure cleaning products and materials are appropriate for a nursery environment and stored and used in line with COSHH guidelines; • Take in deliveries and distribute through the nursery; • Promote good hygiene standards throughout the nursery, encouraging good hygiene alongside the nursery team. • Responsible for always adhering to the company's H&S policy: “Statement of Intent" • Support the kitchen with cleaning duties in the absence of the kitchen team. • You may occasionally be required to support our Educators in the rooms which will require interacting with the children and safeguarding children at all times Experience: • Previous experience in a cleaning or housekeeping role; • Good Knowledge of COSHH and understanding of Health and Safety best practices.
