The role involves working a 12 hour continental shift pattern (nights & days). Reporting to a Shift Manager, you will be responsible for the day to day operations within the factory facility as well as the safe and efficient loading/unloading of pallets, whilst health and safety is adhered to at all times. This challenging position demands a proactive “hands on” approach, complimented by accuracy, adherence to deadlines and laid down procedures THE SUCCESSFUL CANDIDATE MUST HAVE: • Counterbalance / FLT - Essential • Knowledge of warehouse Health and Safety requirements. • Safe stacking and unstacking large quantities of pallets into racking • Moving pallets from storage areas to loading areas for transport • Unloading deliveries and safely relocating the pallets to their designated storage areas • Excellent time management with a flexible approach to work • Skills : accuracy, attention to detail, reliability, computer literate • Able to work to tight deadlines and targets - under own initiative and as part of a team • Naturally self-motivated and have the ability to work under minimum supervision • The willingness to carry out other tasks as and when required What We Offer • Competitive salary & benefits, including annual leave, pension, and a Cycle to Work scheme • Ongoing training and development opportunities • 24/7 confidential support for you and your family • Flexible working options and family-friendly policies • Guaranteed interview for candidates meeting essential criteria (Disability Confident Employer) Ready to make an impact?
