FLT Reach Truck Driver – Pendlebury, Greater Manchester People Solutions are currently recruiting for an FLT Reach Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Pendlebury, Greater Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering excellent rates of pay, immediate starts, no weekend working, and the opportunity to secure a permanent position. This role would suit candidates with experience as an FLT Reach Driver, Reach Truck Operator, Warehouse Operative, Forklift Driver, or Reach Forklift Driver. Temporary to Permanent position available for the right candidate. Shifts • Monday to Friday • 07:00 – 16:00 Rates of Pay • £13.42 per hour Benefits As an FLT Reach Truck Driver, you will receive: • Long-term work with temporary to permanent opportunities • Immediate starts available • No weekend working • Weekly pay • Employee well-being programme • Free on-site parking Day-to-Day Duties As an FLT Reach Truck Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Operating a Reach Truck to move stock safely throughout the warehouse • Picking and packing customer orders accurately • Loading and unloading vehicles and containers safely using the appropriate equipment • Transporting stock to the correct warehouse locations • Receiving, checking, and unpacking incoming deliveries • Organising, wrapping, and securing pallets ready for dispatch • Stacking and storing pallets safely within the warehouse • Carrying out quality checks on incoming and outgoing goods • Maintaining a clean, tidy, and safe working environment • Reporting damaged equipment, racking, or any health and safety concerns to the supervisor • Following all site health and safety procedures at all times Essential Skills To be successful in this role, you will need: • A valid FLT Reach Truck licence • Good knowledge and understanding of Health & Safety procedures • Excellent timekeeping and punctuality • Strong teamwork and communication skills • The ability to read and speak a good level of English • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced warehouse environment • Good attention to detail Desirable Experience • Previous experience working within a warehouse environment • Previous Reach Truck operating experience Training Provided • Full training and site assessment will be provided before starting work Apply If you are looking for reliable, well-paid work with the opportunity to secure a permanent position, apply today by clicking the link below or contact our recruitment team to find out more.
