FLT Reach Truck Driver – Pendlebury, Greater Manchester People Solutions are currently recruiting for a FLT Reach Truck Driver to join our well-established client based in Pendlebury, Greater Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity offering ongoing work and the potential to secure a permanent position. This role would suit applicants who have worked in a similar role such as a FLT Driver, Reach Truck Driver, or Forklift Truck Operator. Shifts: • Monday to Friday • 07:00 – 16:00 Rates of Pay: • £13.42 per hour Benefits: As a FLT Reach Truck Driver, you will receive: • Long-term work – temporary to permanent opportunity • Immediate start available • No weekend working • Employee wellbeing programme Day-to-Day Duties: As a FLT Reach Truck Driver, your duties will include (but are not limited to): • Driving and operating a reach truck as well as completing picking and packing duties • Loading and unloading trucks and containers safely and efficiently • Moving and transporting stock into the correct warehouse locations • Loading and unloading vehicles and pallets • Receiving and unpacking incoming goods and completing inventory checks • Organising, wrapping, and securing stock ready for delivery • Stacking and storing pallets safely • Adhering to health and safety regulations at all times • Checking the quality of incoming and outgoing goods • Keeping work areas clear and maintaining safe traffic routes • Reporting faulty equipment or safety hazards to a supervisor Essential Skills: To be successful as a FLT Reach Truck Driver, you will need: • A valid Reach Truck Licence with a minimum of six months’ experience • Good knowledge and understanding of health and safety procedures • Strong punctuality and timekeeping • Good teamwork skills • A good level of spoken and written English • The ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment • Strong attention to detail and the ability to meet deadlines Desirable Experience: • Previous experience working within a warehouse environment Training: • Full training will be provided for this role • You will be required to complete an assessment prior to starting Apply: If you are looking for reliable, well-paid work as a FLT Reach Truck Driver, apply today and a member of our recruitment team will be in touch.
