Forge Stamp Operative Location: Sheffield Shift Pattern: Rotating Mornings & Afternoons Salary: £30,726 - £37,544 depending on experience Elevation Recruitment are working with a highly reputable manufacturing business based in Sheffield, who are looking to recruit a Forge Stamp Operative to join their forging team. This is an excellent opportunity to join a precision-focused environment where quality, consistency, and continuous improvement are key. Overview of the Role To safely set up and operate stamping equipment ranging from 1500kg to 3000kg, producing precision components in line with defined quality standards, health and safety requirements, and production targets within a fast-paced manufacturing environment. Shift Pattern Monday – Thursday • Mornings: 6:00am – 2:00pm • Afternoons: 2:00pm – 10:00pm Early finish on Fridays • Morning: 6:00am – 12:00pm • Afternoon: 12:00pm – 6:00pm Duties & Responsibilities • Setting, operating, and monitoring stamping equipment • Carrying out routine pre-use checks on equipment, tooling, and dies • Producing components in line with work instructions, SOPs, and quality standards • Achieving output and efficiency targets within a fast-paced manufacturing environment • Identifying faults or issues and escalating where necessary • Supporting continuous improvement initiatives across the production area • Adhering to all health and safety requirements at all times The Successful Candidate Will Have • Previous experience operating stamping equipment within a hot forge environment • Strong attention to detail, particularly within regulated industries • Experience working to production targets and quality standards • A proactive and reliable approach to work • The ability to work effectively both independently and as part of a team Benefits • 25 days annual leave plus bank holidays • Paid breaks • Westfield Health Cash Plan • Enhanced maternity and paternity pay • Stable, long-term opportunity within a well-established business For more information or to apply, please contact Lauren Gormanly at Elevation Recruitment.
