Forklift Operative - Events & Broadcast LogisticsRight Now Group are currently recruiting for a Forklift Operative to join a specialist Events & Broadcast Freight Forwarder based in Woking. This is an excellent opportunity to join a well-established logistics business that supports the movement of high-value equipment for the live events, television, broadcasting, and entertainment industries across the UK and internationally.
This role would suit an experienced warehouse professional who holds both Counterbalance and Reach Truck licences and enjoys working in a fast-paced environment where accuracy and attention to detail are essential.

Hours: Monday - Friday, 09:00 - 17:30
Salary: Up to £32,000 (depending on experience)
Key Responsibilities of a Forklift Operative
• Operate both Counterbalance and Reach Truck forklifts to safely load, unload, and move freight throughout the warehouse.
• Receive inbound deliveries, checking goods against delivery documentation and reporting any discrepancies or damages.
• Pick, pack, and prepare high-value event and broadcasting equipment for dispatch, ensuring all customer and operational requirements are met.
• Load and unload vehicles safely while ensuring freight is secured and handled with care to prevent damage.
• Accurately label, scan, and store freight within the warehouse management system.
• Carry out regular stock checks and support inventory control activities to maintain accurate warehouse records.
• Work closely with the operations team to ensure shipments are prepared and dispatched within tight deadlines.
• Maintain a clean, organised, and safe warehouse environment in line with Health & Safety procedures.
Key Skills Required
• Essential: Valid Counterbalance Forklift Licence.
• Essential: Valid Reach Truck Licence.
• Previous warehouse experience within freight forwarding, logistics, or a distribution environment.
• Experience handling high-value, fragile, or time-critical freight is highly desirable.
• Strong attention to detail and the ability to work accurately under pressure.
• Excellent organisational skills and a proactive approach to daily warehouse operations.
• Reliable, hardworking, and able to work effectively as part of a team.
