Job description

This is an excellent opportunity for a Senior Freight Coordinator who has excellent knowledge and experience of working within Freight & Courier industry to join a specialist Logistics provider who are a Market Leader in their field.( Art & Tech ) This role offers excellent company benefits including 25 days annual leave You will be involved with organising shipments mainly via airfreight or courier 90% Export / 10% Import and ensuring that everything is running smoothly and providing excellent customer service at all stages of the process. Duties will include:- Coordinate and manage shipments via Air, Courier, Road & Sea and ensuring shipments adhere to relevant constraints (time budget scope & quality) Monitor the orders using the computer system Be the first point of contact for our partners and importers Suggest improvements in operational processes within the Freight & Customs team Work closely and collaboratively with our Customer Care and Warehouse teams Skills and Experience required Previous experience of 3 years Air Exports & Courier Excellent written and verbal communication skills Proactive, fast-learner, autonomous Has unawareness of customs and wants to learn or already has experience with customs entries Strong academic background Great analytical skills and are comfortable working with numbers Detail-oriented, you have strong organizational skills and are disciplined in daily activity planning Multi-tasking and can synthesize multiple perspectives to get the most important thing done Enjoy working in a challenging, fast-paced, target-driven and team-oriented environment Mon - Fri 9am- 5.30pm Salary 33K-37K subject to experience Company Benefits • 25 days of paid leave • 3% pension contribution • Health insurance, starting 3 months from your start date • Develop a strong bedrock of logistics and art market knowledge • Team building events
