Remote | Term Time Only (41 weeks) | £30,000 FTE (Actual Salary c.£26,200) | Permanent We're recruiting for a Funding Administrator to join a growing education organisation that is making a real difference to young people's futures. This is a fantastic opportunity for someone with strong administration and data management experience who enjoys working with accuracy, compliance and improving processes. Working remotely on a term-time only, permanent contract, you'll play a vital role in ensuring student funding data is accurate, compliant and submitted within strict deadlines, helping to maximise funding and support learners across the organisation. The RoleReporting to the Finance & Funding Lead, you'll be responsible for maintaining high-quality student funding data while supporting the full funding administration process from enrolment through to funding submissions. Key responsibilities include: • Processing student applications and supporting learner onboarding. • Maintaining accurate student records and funding data. • Checking enrolment information and funding eligibility. • Preparing and validating funding returns in line with national deadlines. • Reconciling funding reports and investigating discrepancies. • Processing bursary and free school meal applications. • Supporting funding audits and compliance activity. • Producing reports and analysing data to improve quality and accuracy. • Working collaboratively with colleagues across the organisation to ensure funding processes run smoothly. About YouWe're looking for someone who enjoys working with data, has exceptional attention to detail and takes pride in producing accurate work. You'll ideally have: • Experience working with large data sets or external data returns within the Further Education sector. • Experience using a Management Information System (MIS). • Excellent Microsoft Office skills, particularly Excel. • Strong organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple deadlines. • Excellent communication skills and a proactive, collaborative approach. • The ability to work independently while maintaining a high level of accuracy.
