Garment Technologist - Womenswear Fashion Brand Greater Manchester | Competitive Salary + Excellent Benefits A globally renowned womenswear fashion brand, recognised for its trend-led collections, is currently seeking a Womenswear Garment Technologist to join its established Head Office team in Manchester. This is a fantastic opportunity for a Junior or established Garment Technologist with expertise across soft tailoring, dresses and woven & jersey multi-product apparel to play a key role in ensuring exceptional fit, quality and consistency across all product ranges. Key responsibilities include: • Supporting and leading fit sessions and development meetings. • Managing fit approvals, test reports and labelling requirements. • Maintaining high standards of fit, quality and product performance throughout development. • Working closely with design, buying, suppliers and factories to ensure critical path deadlines are achieved. • Providing technical guidance and supporting continuous product improvement. The ideal candidate will possess: • Previous experience as a Junior or Garment Technologist within a premium brand or high-street retailer. • Strong multi-product womenswear experience. • Excellent knowledge of garment construction, pattern cutting and grading. • Proven experience working with overseas suppliers and factories. • Strong communication, organisation and problem-solving skills. • Proficiency in Microsoft Office and Adobe software packages.
