General Imaging Assistant - Part Time

• Maintain a safe environment by adhering to local infection control policies. • To actively participate in the Staff Development Process Review. • Encourage, mentor and train all team members within GIA and CIA teams. • Active participation in stock control • Active participation in all audit and continuous improvement • Assist the Radiographic Team in the care of the Patient by:- • Complete Imaging Safety questionnaires with all relevant patients • Assess patients for suitability for cannulation • Immediately feedback to Radiographic / Nursing / Radiologist team any potential problems with cannulae, patient allergies, ECG etc • Assist patients for discharge and inform of results procedure • Monitoring of patients before and after Imaging procedures Please note this post involves working weekends and bank holidays on a rota.
