This welcoming, well-established manufacturing company on the outskirts of Nottingham, who is looking for a proactive Production Operative to join their production team. You'll gain exposure to a wide variety of tasks, work with supportive colleagues and enjoy being part of a business with outstanding employee engagement and long-service awards across the team.
What you'll be doing: You’ll play an important role in supporting production and business operations, including:
• Working across production areas — machine minding, secondary operations, packing, assembling and more
• Using EFACS/ERP (or similar systems) to book labour and update records
• Carrying out stock taking and updating spreadsheets
• Inputting data with accuracy and attention to detail
• Reporting hazards or near-misses using iAuditor
• Suggesting improvements and supporting continuous improvement activities
• Following production processes, quality standards, GMP/GDP and good housekeeping
• Taking part in training to build your skills and knowledge
• Representing company values and contributing positively to the team

What We’re Looking For
• Previous experience in a machine operative role
• Good attention to detail
• Comfortable using computers or handheld devices
• Accurate written and verbal communication skills
• Ability to follow instructions and work to processes
• Dexterity and confidence in hands-on work
• Basic mechanical skills (advantageous)
• Experience with EFACS or similar ERP systems (advantageous)

Working HoursStandard Hours:
• Monday – Thursday: 07:00 – 15:30
• Friday: 07:00 – 12:30
Shift Rotation (every 4–6 weeks)Afternoons:
• Mon–Thu: 14:00 – 22:30
• Fri: 11:00 – 16:30
