Key Responsibilities:
• Assess, diagnose, and treat acute and chronic illnesses.
• Conduct physical examinations and order or interpret diagnostic tests.
• Prescribe medications and monitor treatment effectiveness.
• Manage long-term conditions such as Diabetes, Hypertension, and Asthma.
• Provide preventive healthcare, including vaccinations, health screening, and lifestyle advice.
• Offer mental health assessment, treatment, and referrals where appropriate.
• Refer patients to specialists, hospitals, or community healthcare services when required.
• Perform minor medical procedures within the scope of general practice.
• Maintain accurate, confidential patient records and comply with legal and ethical standards.
• Work collaboratively with nurses, pharmacists, and other healthcare professionals to deliver coordinated patient care.
• Working with other partners to make efficient and robust clinical and business decisions.

Qualifications:
• Medical degree (e.g., MRCGP,MBBS, MBChB, or equivalent).
• Completion of postgraduate GP training.
• Registration and licence to practise with the relevant medical regulatory body (such as the General Medical Council in the UK).
• Registration with with BCUHB GP register
