Job title: Salaried or Partner General Practitioner Hours: 4-8 sessions Job Summary: The post-holder will work as part of a team, dealing with a wide range of health needs in a primary care setting, ensuring the highest standards of care for all registered patients. Clinical Responsibilities: Conduct surgery consultations, telephone consultations, home visits and manage admin results, prescriptions, correspondence. Making professional, autonomous clinical decisions in relation to presenting problems. Assess, diagnose and manage a broad range of conditions Screening patients for disease risk factors and early signs of illness. Referring to other care providers as appropriate. Recording clear and accurate consultation notes to agreed standards. Support audits and quality improvement. The post-holder will be expected to undertake all the normal duties and responsibilities associated with a GP working within primary care. Other Responsibilities within the Organisation: Follow all practice policies (prescribing, confidentiality, data protection, health & safety Commit to ongoing learning and evidence-based practice. Participate in audits, clinical standards, and training events. Contribute to the training of GP trainees and medical students Confidentiality: Maintain strict confidentiality regarding patient, staff, and organisational information. Share information only with authorised individuals in line with policy.
