Job Title: Salaried General PractitionerHours: 45 Sessions per WeekResponsible to:HR LeadAccountable to: Partnership Job PurposeTo provide high-quality, patient-centered primary medical care to the registered population, working as part of a multidisciplinary team to deliver safe, effective, and efficient services in line with current clinical guidelines and contractual requirements. Key ResponsibilitiesClinical Duties • Provide routine, urgent, and same-day consultations (face-to-face and/or remote as required). • Diagnose and manage acute and chronic conditions in accordance with evidence-based practice. • Prescribe medications safely and appropriately in line with prescribing guidelines. • Provide appropriate referrals to secondary care and other services. • Undertake home visits where clinically necessary. • Deliver preventative care, including health promotion and screening. Clinical Governance • Participate in clinical audits and quality improvement activities. • Contribute to significant event analysis and learning reviews. • Maintain accurate and timely clinical records in accordance with GMC standards. • Participate in safeguarding processes and mandatory training. Team Working • Work collaboratively with GPs, nurses, pharmacists, and allied health professionals. • Participate in clinical meetings and multidisciplinary discussions. • Support trainees, medical students, or other learners where applicable.
