Geotechnical Design Engineer - Reading Ref: 239224 Salary: £38,000 - £45,000 An exciting opportunity has arisen for a Geotechnical Design Engineer to join a well-established multidisciplinary engineering consultancy in Reading. With decades of experience delivering civil, structural and geotechnical solutions across the UK, our client has built an outstanding reputation for providing innovative, high-quality engineering services across infrastructure, buildings and major construction projects. As a Geotechnical Design Engineer, you will produce geotechnical designs for a diverse range of projects, including foundations, earthworks, retaining structures and temporary works. You'll undertake site assessments, interpret ground investigation data, prepare technical reports and work closely with multidisciplinary engineering teams to deliver practical, cost-effective solutions. The Geotechnical Design Engineer will also liaise with clients and contribute to the successful delivery of projects from concept through to completion. To be considered for this Geotechnical Design Engineer position you'll need: • Previous geotechnical design experience • A relevant engineering degree in civil engineering, geotechnical engineering or engineering geology • A full UK driving licence • A full right to work in the UK • To live in or within a reasonable commute of the Reading office.
