Lead Geotechnical Driller Rotherham Reference: BY246406 Salary: £32,000 - £40,000 A respected UK consultancy with a long track record in civil, structural, and environmental engineering, is expanding their ground investigation team and looking for an experienced Lead Geotechnical Driller to be based near Rotherham. If you enjoy working outdoors, operating specialist drilling equipment, and taking pride in doing things right - this role is for you! What the Lead Geotechnical Driller will do: • Operate and maintain drilling and sampling rigs, including window sampling and dynamic probing equipment. • Collect accurate soil and groundwater samples in accordance with industry standards. • Record site data, sample depths, and ground conditions clearly and precisely. • Carry out daily safety checks and basic maintenance on rigs. • Work closely with technical staff to deliver projects safely and efficiently. • Be willing to travel and stay away from home when required (expenses paid).
