Job description

Looking to combine your tax expertise with technology, transformation and global client delivery? A leading Big 4 professional services firm is looking to appoint a Senior Manager to join its rapidly growing Global Tax Managed Services team. This is an exciting opportunity to work with multinational organisations and financial services groups, helping them transform how they manage tax compliance, reporting and governance across multiple jurisdictions. Rather than simply delivering compliance, you'll help clients redesign their tax operating models through managed services, process improvements, automation and technology-enabled solutions. The Opportunity As a Senior Manager within Global Tax Managed Services, you'll lead complex international engagements, supporting clients as they modernise their tax functions and improve efficiency, control and visibility. You'll work with senior stakeholders across global organisations, coordinating teams across jurisdictions and helping deliver innovative solutions that combine tax expertise, technology and operational excellence. This role offers exposure to large-scale transformation programmes, global delivery models and some of the world's leading businesses. Key Responsibilities • Lead and manage large-scale UK and global tax compliance, reporting and managed service engagements. • Support clients in transforming their tax operating models through process improvements, technology solutions and enhanced governance frameworks. • Oversee the implementation of tax technology and automation solutions to improve efficiency and reporting accuracy. • Act as a key point of contact for multinational clients, coordinating delivery across internal teams and international stakeholders. • Manage engagement delivery, including budgets, timelines, risks and quality standards. • Lead multidisciplinary teams, including Managers, Assistant Managers and offshore delivery resources. • Identify opportunities to enhance client relationships and support the growth of additional services. • Develop and maintain strong relationships with senior client stakeholders. • Coach, mentor and develop team members, supporting the continued growth of the Global Tax Managed Services practice. About You • ACA, CTA, ATT or an equivalent professional qualification (or significant relevant experience). • Experience within tax compliance, tax reporting, tax transformation, corporate tax, VAT, transfer pricing or statutory reporting. • Experience managing large-scale, multi-jurisdictional engagements. • Strong project management skills with the ability to manage complex delivery programmes. • Experience improving tax processes, governance frameworks or operating models. • An interest in tax technology, automation and data-driven solutions. • Excellent stakeholder management skills with the confidence to work with senior international clients. • Proven experience leading teams and developing junior professionals. • A commercially focused mindset with the ability to identify opportunities and deliver practical solutions. Why Apply? This is an opportunity to join one of the fastest-growing areas of the tax profession, working at the intersection of tax, technology and business transformation. You'll gain exposure to global organisations, major transformation programmes and innovative tax solutions while building expertise in a rapidly evolving area of the market. If you're looking for a role that moves beyond traditional tax compliance and allows you to shape the future of how organisations manage their tax functions, this is an excellent next step.
