Title: Interim Paralegal (Governance & Commercial) Duration: 6m FTC Location: London Hybrid: One day per week in office Salary: Competitive Are you a law graduate or paralegal looking to develop your experience across governance, commercial contracts and legal compliance within a purpose-led organisation? We are seeking an Interim Paralegal (Governance & Commercial) to support a busy Legal & Governance team during an exciting period of organisational transformation at one of our medical membership body clients. Reporting to the Head of Legal, you will provide practical legal and governance support, helping to ensure robust compliance, effective contract management and strong corporate governance. Key responsibilities include: • Supporting legal advice, drafting and contract negotiations. • Reviewing and managing commercial agreements and copyright licences. • Maintaining contract records through a contract management system. • Assisting with governance documentation and legal research. • Supporting litigation-related matters and document management. • Monitoring legal developments and helping prepare policies and governance papers. • Building strong relationships with stakeholders across the organisation. The Ideal Candidate: • Law degree or equivalent qualification. • Strong written and verbal communication skills with exceptional attention to detail. • Able to work independently, use initiative and manage sensitive information confidentially. • Proficient in Microsoft Office and Teams. • Knowledge of commercial contracts, governance or compliance is advantageous. • Experience within legal, charity, membership, publishing or regulated environments is desirable.
