Job description
• Provide comprehensive medical services as defined in the core GMS contract, and additional services where appropriate.
• Deliver high-quality clinical care while working autonomously as a GP, adhering to GMC standards and the GMS contract.
• Manage a diverse caseload, including the assessment and treatment of patients with undifferentiated and undiagnosed problems.
• Develop and implement care plans in consultation with patients, providing counselling and health education.
• Complete a share of daily tasks, queries and prescription sign offs.
• Maintain accurate, contemporaneous consultation notes using SystemOne, and manage prescriptions according to guidelines.
• Participate in regular clinical meetings
• Contribute to the management and improvement of practice processes, ensuring adherence to policies on confidentiality, data protection, and health and safety.
• Foster effective communication within the team and with patients, upholding equality, diversity, and patient confidentiality standards.
• Engage in personal and professional development, including participating in annual appraisals, revalidation, and maintaining professional registration.
• Responsibilities will reflect requirements of the NHS GP Contracts, and as such may be subject to change as services adapt.
• Occasional home or care home visits may be required usually carried out by our ANP .We offer:
