2.1 or above - Graduate ACCA Training Contract, South Liverpool, 25k plus full KAPLAN ACCA study package Description: A successful firm of chartered accountants, established for over 40 years in South Liverpool, is looking to recruit a graduate accounting and tax trainee to join their professional and friendly team. Ideally you will have gained 6-12 months experience in a similar role and can show a keen interest in progressing your career in accountancy, with good knowledge of the ACCA qualification and why you wish to become an accountant. Applications from graduates without accounting experience will be considered for those with exceptionally strong academic backgrounds and based locally to South Liverpool. Reporting to the Accounts Managers and Seniors, you will be working alongside an experienced team, offering clients a professional accounting and tax compliance and advisory service. The Graduate ACCA Trainee Accountant’s responsibilities will include: • Accounts preparation for sole traders, partnerships and limited companies • Personal tax returns • Corporate tax returns • Bookkeeping and VAT Benefits: £25,000 plus full block-release KAPLAN study support. You will be working alongside an experienced team, gaining excellent training, mentorship and support towards your ACCA studies. Additional benefits include 35-hour week and free parking.
