Graduate Design Engineer

Position: Graduate Design Engineer Location: Salisbury Salary: £26,000 - £30,000 Graduate Design Engineer required. Our client is a well-established and growing manufacturer based in Salisbury. Due to ongoing success, they are seeking a Graduate Engineer to join their design & development team. Graduate Design EngineerPosition Overview • Creating 3D modelling drawings for Jig & Tooling design • Ensuring design work undertaken is feasible for manufacture • Supporting prototype builds and DFM • Conduct regular engineering reviews to ensure project milestones are achieved • Liaising with suppliers of parts and tooling • Producing cost estimates Graduate Design EngineerPosition Requirements • Degree qualified within an Engineering / Design related subject • Based in a commutable distance of Salisbury • Proficient with the use of CAD software such as Solidworks or Catia. • Knowledge of manufacturing methods such as sheet metal fabrication, welding, metal pressing and robotics Graduate Design EngineerPosition Remuneration • Salary £26,000 - £30,000, depending on experience • Monday to Friday. Full-time, permanent position • Holiday allowance and pension.
