Graduate Teaching Assistant Location: Hackney Salary: £95-£115 per day Start Date: September 2026 Contract: Full Time | Term Time Only Are you a recent graduate considering a future career in teaching? Tradewind Recruitment are working with a number of successful secondary schools in Hackney seeking enthusiastic Graduate Teaching Assistants to support learning across a range of subjects. This role offers excellent classroom experience before teacher training. The RoleYou will: • Support teaching and learning across Key Stages 3 and 4. • Deliver small group interventions. • Provide one-to-one academic support. • Assist students with classroom activities. • Help prepare learning resources. • Encourage student engagement and confidence. The Ideal CandidateYou will: • Hold a degree. • Be enthusiastic about education. • Have excellent communication skills. • Be confident working with young people. • Be reliable, proactive and adaptable. • Have experience working with young people (desirable but not essential).
