We're working with a well-established and highly respected planning consultancy that is looking to appoint an ambitious Graduate Town Planner to join its growing team. The RoleAs a Graduate Town Planner, you'll gain exposure to a diverse range of residential, commercial, mixed-use and strategic development projects. Working alongside experienced planners, you'll support clients throughout the planning process while developing your technical knowledge and commercial awareness. Your responsibilities will include: • Assisting with the preparation and submission of planning applications and appeals. • Undertaking planning policy research and site appraisals. • Preparing planning statements, reports and supporting documentation. • Liaising with local authorities, consultants and clients. • Supporting senior team members on a broad range of planning projects. • Attending client meetings, site visits and public consultations where appropriate. About YouWe're looking for an enthusiastic and motivated graduate who is eager to build a successful career in planning. You'll ideally have: • A degree (or postgraduate qualification) accredited by the RTPI. • Excellent written and verbal communication skills. • Strong research and analytical abilities. • A proactive attitude and willingness to learn. • Good organisational skills with the ability to manage competing priorities. • A full UK driving licence would be advantageous but is not essential.
