Job description

Graphic Design and Marketing Officer -Permanent vacancy £26,000- £28,000 starting salary dependent on experience Free Parking 25 days holiday Leicester South Are you a Graphic Designer with some wider marketing experience or a graduate Graphic designer looking for their first role in industry? If so, and you have a pro-active and hardworking character, please read on! We’re looking for a creative marketer who thinks visually — someone who can take a rough idea and turn it into something that looks sharp and delivers results. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys designing high-quality marketing materials that stand out in a competitive market and drive engagement. You might be an experienced designer, or an early-career creative with a strong portfolio. What matters most is your creativity, ability to take ownership, and pride in producing high-quality work. What the role involves Design and Brand You’ll be responsible for shaping how our marketing looks across all channels — including social media, paid ads, email, website visuals, brochures, sales decks, onboarding materials and infographics. A key part of the role is taking complex ideas and turning them into clear, visually engaging content, while maintaining and evolving brand consistency. Content and Social You’ll manage and grow our social media presence, focusing on platforms such as Meta and LinkedIn. This involves planning and creating content tailored to different audiences, building a consistent presence, and ensuring activity supports brand awareness and lead generation — rather than posting reactively. Email and Customer Marketing You’ll design and build email campaigns for prospects, enquiries and existing customers, as well as develop customer journeys and automated campaigns that support the wider team. Campaigns and Performance You’ll contribute to multi-channel campaigns and monitor how they perform. An interest in metrics such as cost per lead, conversion rates and ROI is important, along with the ability (or willingness to learn) how to turn data into actionable improvements. Support will be provided in this area where needed. Collaboration You’ll work closely with internal teams to understand the product offering, identify opportunities, and create materials that support business goals. Being able to quickly turn ideas into finished assets will make a real impact. Ownership This is a role for someone who takes initiative — from concept through to delivery. Product Knowledge You’ll build an understanding of the product and customer base over time. The more you learn, the more effective your marketing will be. What we’re looking for Strong graphic design skills and a good visual eye Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite (Photoshop, Illustrator, InDesign or similar) A portfolio demonstrating your work Good understanding of branding, layout and visual communication Commercial awareness, or a desire to develop it Organised, proactive and comfortable taking ownership Positive attitude — willing to learn, open to feedback, and focused on delivering quality A quick learner who can adapt to new tools, ideas and products How to apply Please submit your CV, portfolio, and a short introduction.
