I am looking for an experienced Group Financial Reporting Manager on a 12-month day-rate contract.
Working within a high-performing Group Finance function, you will support the delivery of financial reporting, group consolidation and technical accounting guidance.. This role requires strong IFRS expertise, experience operating within a complex group environment, and the ability to engage effectively with stakeholders across multiple business units.
Group Financial Reporting Manager
We are seeking an experienced finance professional to join a high-performing Group Finance team. This role offers the opportunity to play a key part in external reporting, group consolidation, financial governance, and finance transformation initiatives within a complex international organisation.
Key Responsibilities
• Support the preparation and delivery of Group financial statements, including annual and interim reporting and related disclosures.
• Ensure Group financial reporting processes operate efficiently and reporting deadlines are met.
• Provide technical accounting and consolidation expertise, responding to reporting queries from finance teams across the business.
• Review submissions from business units within the Group reporting system, ensuring accuracy, completeness, and compliance with reporting requirements.
• Act as a trusted advisor on IFRS and technical accounting matters, partnering with stakeholders across the organisation.
• Support finance change and transformation projects, applying financial reporting, consolidation, and project management expertise to deliver successful outcomes.
• Perform detailed reviews of monthly management reporting, budgets, and forecasts submitted by business units.
• Collaborate with Finance Systems teams to design, test, and implement enhancements to the Group consolidation and reporting system.
• Develop and deliver training on financial reporting standards, accounting developments, and best practice guidance.
Candidate Profile
• Qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, CA or equivalent).
• Strong knowledge of IFRS and Group financial reporting.
• Experience working within a large corporate, listed business, or complex group environment.
• Strong analytical, review, and problem-solving skills with excellent attention to detail.
• Effective communicator with the ability to influence and build relationships across multiple stakeholders.
• Experience supporting finance projects and process improvement initiatives would be advantageous.
• Experience with Group consolidation systems, particularly HFM (Hyperion Financial Management), would be advantageous.
• Knowledge of SOX controls and financial reporting governance frameworks would be beneficial.
