Key Responsibilities
• Perform duties as an HCPC Registered Specialist Biomedical Scientist, supporting the delivery of departmental services.
• Work alongside specialist and senior Biomedical Scientists to provide a cohesive, highquality service in collaboration with the clinical lead.
• Implement the departments quality policy and ensure compliance with agreed quality objectives.
• Contribute to maintaining and continuously improving UKAS standards by effectively using the Pathology Quality Management System (QMS).
• Participate in quality circles and conduct audits to meet ISO 15189 compliance requirements.
• Assist in resolving nonconformities identified through audits or complaints by supporting action plans and ensuring corrective/preventative measures are completed.
• Adhere to all Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and maintain documentation control via the QPulse Document Management Module.
