Are you an experienced Quality, Compliance or Audit professional looking to make a real impact within a growing professional services organisation?
We are seeking a Head of Quality & Compliance to lead our quality assurance and compliance function, ensuring the highest standards of service delivery, regulatory compliance, and professional practice across a busy surveying and valuation operation.
Reporting to the Senior Officer for People & Operations, you will lead the Quality Assurance team, oversee audit programmes, manage complaints and compliance activities, and take ownership of the organisation's ISO 9001 Quality Management System. This is a hands-on leadership role offering the opportunity to influence business-wide improvements and promote a culture of quality and accountability.
Key Responsibilities
• Lead and develop the Quality Assurance team.
• Oversee quality assurance processes for valuation and survey reports.
• Manage and continuously improve the ISO 9001 Quality Management System.
• Design and deliver internal audit programmes.
• Lead internal and external audits, ensuring corrective actions are completed.
• Manage complaints, claims, and compliance matters.
• Analyse quality and audit data to identify improvement opportunities.
• Produce management reports and compliance updates.
• Support regulatory, accreditation, and due diligence requirements.
• Drive process improvements through technology, automation, and AI solutions.
About You
You'll be an experienced quality, compliance, or operational excellence leader with a passion for continuous improvement and delivering high standards.
Essential experience:
• Quality assurance, compliance, audit, or quality management experience.
• Proven people management and leadership skills.
• Experience managing audit programmes and compliance activities.
• Strong understanding of regulated environments and quality frameworks.
• Complaint investigation and root cause analysis experience.
• Excellent communication, stakeholder management, and organisational skills.
• Knowledge of risk management and continuous improvement methodologies.
Desirable:
• ISO 9001 Quality Management System experience.
• Internal Auditor or Quality qualification.
• Knowledge of surveying, valuations, property services, or RICS standards.
• Experience supporting external audits and accreditations.
