Head of Enforcement & Recoveries Location: Liverpool (Hybrid Working Available) Job Type: Permanent, Full-Time Salary: Competitive + Benefits Reed Legal are proud to be recruiting on behalf of a leading UK legal services organisation An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced legal professional to lead and develop a specialist Enforcement & Recoveries function within a well-established and growing law firm. This is a senior leadership role offering the opportunity to shape strategy, drive operational performance, and lead a high-performing team responsible for post-judgment recovery and enforcement activity. The successful candidate will combine strong technical expertise with commercial awareness, leadership capability, and a passion for delivering outstanding client outcomes. The Role Reporting into senior leadership, you will take ownership of the firm's enforcement and recovery operations, ensuring effective delivery across complex and high-value matters while identifying opportunities to improve performance, profitability, and client satisfaction. Key responsibilities will include: • Leading and developing a team of solicitors, fee earners, paralegals and support staff • Creating and implementing strategic plans for the enforcement and recoveries function • Managing complex enforcement and debt recovery matters • Advising on the most effective routes to recovery and enforcement • Overseeing insolvency-related recovery actions where appropriate • Monitoring team performance, productivity and service standards • Driving process improvement and operational efficiencies • Building and maintaining strong client relationships • Producing management information and performance reports • Ensuring compliance with all relevant legal, regulatory and professional obligations • Supporting wider business growth initiatives and contributing to commercial objectives About You We are keen to speak with candidates who can demonstrate: • Qualification as a Solicitor, Legal Executive or equivalent legal professional • Significant experience within litigation, enforcement, recoveries, debt recovery or asset recovery • Proven experience managing and developing legal teams • Strong knowledge of civil litigation procedures and enforcement mechanisms • Commercially focused approach with excellent client management skills • Experience handling both high-volume and complex case portfolios • Strong stakeholder management and communication abilities • A proactive and solutions-focused leadership style Desirable Experience • Experience within recoveries, insolvency, or asset tracing environments • Exposure to legal case management systems and workflow technologies • Experience driving service improvements and operational change • Business development or client relationship management experience What's on Offer • Competitive salary package • Leadership position with significant strategic influence • Excellent career progression opportunities • Comprehensive benefits package • Modern working environment • Supportive and collaborative culture • Opportunity to join a growing organisation with ambitious plans Apply Now For a confidential discussion regarding this opportunity, please contact Reed Legal.
