Join a major UK infrastructure and logistics business as Head of Finance, leading a team of Finance Managers and supporting the Finance Director across a complex multi-site operation. You'll be responsible for improving financial performance, strengthening governance and controls, supporting capital investment decisions and helping shape the future direction of the finance function. Client Details Our client is a leading UK infrastructure and logistics organisation operating a significant multi-site operation across the South East. Following continued investment and growth, they are seeking an experienced Head of Finance to join the senior leadership team and play a key role in supporting operational performance, financial governance and strategic decision-making. This opportunity offers the chance to work closely with an experienced Finance Director, lead a high-calibre finance team and contribute to the continued development of a large operational business with ambitious growth plans. Description Reporting to the Finance Director, the Head of Finance will lead a team of Finance Managers and play a key role in supporting both the finance function and wider operational leadership team. Key responsibilities will include: • Leading, developing and mentoring a team of Finance Managers and finance professionals • Driving budgeting, forecasting and financial planning processes across a multi-site operation • Delivering insightful management reporting and financial analysis to support decision-making • Partnering with operational stakeholders to improve financial performance, cost efficiency and profitability • Supporting capital investment planning and business case development • Strengthening governance, controls and risk management frameworks • Managing cash flow, working capital and balance sheet performance • Enhancing reporting capability and identifying opportunities for continuous improvement • Supporting audit processes and ensuring a strong financial control environment • Acting as deputy to the Finance Director when required Profile We are seeking a qualified finance professional with strong leadership capabilities and experience operating within a complex multi-site environment to take on this Head of Finance position.
