Head of Legal Practice (HoLP) - Residential Conveyancing Location: Midlands (Hybrid Available) Salary: Competitive + Benefits Type: Permanent, Full-Time An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or FCILEx to join a growing property law firm as Head of Legal Practice (HoLP). This senior leadership role combines regulatory oversight, legal compliance, risk management and team leadership within a high-performing residential conveyancing environment. Key Responsibilities: • Act as the firm's appointed Head of Legal Practice. • Lead legal compliance, governance and risk management. • Provide technical support on complex conveyancing matters. • Oversee audits, complaints handling and quality assurance. • Develop and support legal teams. • Ensure compliance with AML, lender and regulatory requirements. • Drive operational improvements and legal best practice. The Successful Candidate Will Have: • 5+ years PQE as a Solicitor, Licensed Conveyancer or FCILEx. • Extensive residential conveyancing experience. • Strong compliance and regulatory knowledge. • Previous leadership and team management experience. • Excellent communication, commercial awareness and professional judgement.
