Head of Media Planning Media Agency London The company Our client is a leading integrated media agency, partnering with a portfolio of well-known national and international brands to deliver innovative, insight-led communications strategies. With a collaborative culture and a strong focus on creativity, technology and measurable results, they're investing in the continued evolution of their planning capability. The role This is an opportunity to lead and shape the media planning function within a forward-thinking agency. You'll define the planning vision, champion best practice and ensure consistently high-quality strategic output across a diverse client portfolio. Working closely with senior stakeholders across strategy, activation, data and creative, you'll drive innovation in planning methodologies, develop planning capabilities, mentor high-performing teams and build strong relationships with senior clients. You'll also play a key role in agency growth through new business, commercial planning and the adoption of emerging technologies, including AI. You You'll be an experienced media planning leader with a proven track record of delivering strategic, integrated media solutions within an agency environment. You'll also bring: • Extensive media planning experience across offline and digital channels. • Previous leadership experience, with the ability to inspire, coach and develop high-performing teams. • Strong commercial awareness and experience supporting business growth and new business pitches. • The confidence to build trusted relationships with senior client stakeholders. • A collaborative approach, working effectively across strategy, planning, activation, data and creative functions. • A passion for innovation and a genuine interest in how emerging technology and AI can enhance media planning. • Excellent communication and presentation skills, with the ability to influence at every level.
