Head of Quality and Compliance

We have an exciting opportunity for a Head of Quality & Compliance to join a well-established, fast-growing business, leading and developing the function across a diverse consumer product range. This is a high-impact, senior role with real ownership, visibility, and influence across the business. You’ll take the lead on quality assurance, regulatory compliance, product safety, and supplier standards, working closely with senior leadership and global teams to drive best practice and continuous improvement. You’ll be responsible for managing the full quality and compliance function, covering everything from product development through to market. Day to day, this will include: • Ensuring products meet UK, EU, and international regulations • Managing technical documentation and product safety standards • Overseeing audits, inspections, and supplier compliance • Driving improvements across the quality management system • Supporting sourcing and supply chain teams with compliance risk • Leading certification processes including FSC and audits • Managing and developing a small team You’ll also be involved in wider projects, working cross-functionally and helping shape processes as the business continues to grow. Requirements: • Strong background in quality / compliance within consumer products • Experience working across regulated categories (e.g. hardlines, gifting, FMCG or similar) • Confident managing audits, certifications, and supplier standards • Previous experience leading or mentoring a team • Able to manage multiple priorities and work cross-functionally • Strong attention to detail with a practical, solutions-focused approach Benefits: • Hybrid working (2 days from home, after successful probation) • Private healthcare (post-probation) • 24 days holiday + bank holidays • Supportive, collaborative environment with real autonomy • Long-term progression in a growing business This is a full time permanent position based in Lancing, working Monday to Friday 8:30am to 5pm, on an annual salary of £55,000.
