The Head of Transport Solutions Development role in Daventry is all about leading the design and delivery of innovative transport strategies for customers. You'll play a key part in in the business development team ensuring the department delivers well conceived transport solutions that deliver on business objectives. Client Details A UK wide company, operating within the 3rd party transport industry. Description • Develop and implement effective transport solutions to meet business needs. • Lead and manage a team focused on logistics and transport strategy. • Collaborate with key stakeholders to identify opportunities for improvement. • Oversee the development of cost-effective and sustainable transport initiatives. • Ensure compliance with industry regulations and company standards. • Analyse data to optimise operational performance and efficiency. • Prepare and present detailed reports on transport strategies and outcomes. • Support the implementation of new technologies to enhance logistics operations. Profile A successful Head of Transport Solutions Development should have: • Proven expertise in transport and distribution solutions design within the logistics sector. • Strong leadership and team management skills. • Experience in developing and implementing cost-effective transport solutions. • Knowledge of relevant industry regulations and best practices. • Experience using Paragon or similar transport tools • Excellent analytical and problem-solving abilities. • Strong communication and stakeholder management skills.
