Healthcare Assistant - Staffordshire and Stoke

Contract Type: Permanent; Multiple Positions Available Job Shifts: Night shifts from 10:00 PM to 7:00 AM, Monday to Sunday including Bank Holiday Salary: Marie Curie Pay Scale Band 2 (aligned with AFC), £12.92 per hour. Plus, enhanced pay for nights, weekends and public holidays, with up to a 41% uplift on the Band 2 hourly rate Location: Community-based in Staffordshire and Stoke What we are looking for: • Recent experience of providing care in a health or social care setting, with the confidence to support people with dignity, compassion and respect. • An understanding of person-centred care, ideally including palliative or end-of-life care, and a genuine commitment to making a difference to patients and those important to them. • The ability to communicate sensitively and professionally, recognising when to escalate concerns or changes in a persons condition to the wider clinical team. • A caring, flexible and resilient approach, with the ability to work independently while remaining part of a supportive multidisciplinary team. • Good basic IT skills, including the ability to use email, online training, mobile technology and care recording systems. • An NVQ Level 2 in Health and Social Care, or an equivalent qualification, is desirable but not essential. • A valid driving license, access to a vehicle with business insurance, and flexibility to travel up to 25 miles from your home address across Staffordshire and Stoke, including during unsocial hours.
