Are you an experienced Healthcare Support Worker looking for a fast-paced and rewarding role? Join our friendly team at Lymington Urgent Treatment Centre (UTC), where we provide high-quality care for patients with minor injuries and illnesses. As part of our GP-led, multi-disciplinary team, youll play a key role in supporting clinicians and ensuring the smooth running of the department. No two days are the same youll be involved in direct patient care, emergency support, and helping to keep our service running efficiently. 1 position available : 1 x Bank position What youll be doing: • Supporting clinicians with wound care, burns management, plaster application, and dressings. • Taking clinical observations, recording ECGs, and monitoring patients of all ages. • Assisting with emergency care (CPR, anaphylaxis management, defibrillation within your scope). • Performing venepuncture and cannulation (following training and competency). • Maintaining infection control standards and a safe, clean department. • Helping with stock control, ordering, and departmental organisation. • Providing excellent communication and reassurance to patients and carers. • Supporting reception during busy times, including patient registration. About you: Essential: • GCSE/O Level English (or equivalent). • NVQ Level 3 in Healthcare / Care Certificate (or equivalent knowledge through practice). • At least 2 years experience in a healthcare setting. Desirable: • Previous experience in a UTC, GP surgery, or emergency department. • Skills in wound care, dressings, plastering, ECGs, or venepuncture.
